InMode's Votiva is a radiofrequency (RF) technology and the first and only device on the market that addresses both internal and external vaginal issues, including sexual dysfunction. The InMode Votiva platform has a variety of indications. First and foremost are the benefits related to women's sexual health. If you suffer from low blood flow, sensitivity or lowered sexual interest Votiva is perfect for you. It can also address elasticity and wrinkled appearance of the labia and vulva. It helps with urinary incontinence, painful sexual intercourse, vaginal dryness, vaginal irritation, perineal scarring from childbirth, and vaginal laxity. It has also been helpful with pelvic floor dysfunction.
How is it different than other devices in feminine wellness?
We have known about RF for many years. We know it increases vascularization, collagen and elastin production. This leads to reversal of many changes that take place due to hormonal fluctuations and age. The skin functions in a much healthier manner. This is not a laser, but a painless procedure that has zero downtime for patients. It works better with a lubricant; we use ultrasound gel as the medium.
How many Votiva sessions will I need?
Results can be seen immediately, with the greatest results becoming noticeable in just a few weeks. We recommend 3-5 treatments performed at monthly intervals. After the treatment you should experience a difference in sensation, tightness, and appearance for up to one year. Yearly treatments are recommended to maintain results.
Is there any downtime with Votiva vaginal rejuvenation?
Because of the gentle, non-ablative nature of the radiofrequency energy, the RF current heats the tissue of the vaginal lining and labia, creating a non-ablative, gentle rejuvenation. The Votiva is a non-painful treatment, there is no post care required and patients can return to normal activities immediately with the exception of sexual intimacy including masturbation, the use of tampons or hot tubs/sauna for 2 days post treatment.
